Bristol’s Big Green Week is a week long festival of eco ideas, art and entertainment in Bristol.

Design & Tonic was approached to help with marketing collateral for the festival including re-branding their website and creating advertising/printed collateral for the festival.

The client wanted all the collateral to be fun and engaging while still getting across their eco focus. It needed to appeal to families as well as environmental enthusiasts and advertise Bristol as a forward thinking city.

Using photography from previous events collaged together alongside playful typography, We created a three posters that could work independently or as a series to show the different aspects of the festival within its Bristol setting.

We also redesigned the website looking at the user journey closely making sure it was as easy as possible for users to find and book the events they wanted to attend. We achieved this by creating a series of icons to represent the different areas of the festival which could be used to filter the events diary. Users were also able to filter using the date, making it easy to find the right type of events on the right days.
