Totterdown Arts Trail weekend!

Front Room a.k.a Totterdown Arts Trail hit Bristol this weekend, so my sister and I ventured over to take a look at the talent on offer. It’s the oldest of Bristol’s various art trails and now attracts around 180 artists across 60 different venues, so you are spoilt for choice. Not only do you get to see a selection of fantastic artwork but you also get offered fantastic, tea, cake, mulled wine and cider! What more could you want from a Sunday afternoon. We also spotted some fantastic sites while walking round which included a brilliant collection of ornaments in one ladies garden and some fab knitted grafitti, which included a knitted hanging basket of flowers, you can’t get more hip than that!!

I made two purchases on the trail, although I prob could have bought a lot more. These included a beautiful print of one of Cordelia Hutchinson’s paintings of a girl on the beach. Amazing colours and beautifully painted. Check out her website at and also a brilliant pen and ink sketch from Big Mike. All his pen and ink sketches are original so you know you’ve bought one of a kind, which makes it quite special. They are brilliantly funny and I had no hesitation in buying Lionel Sinclair. My sister was gutted that she didn’t get the psychotic granny which had already been sold. Check out his website at
